Hi! My name is Anna (Ah-na). I am an art psychotherapist who specializes in trauma-informed, mindfulness, and person-centered approaches in my work with clients. I also hold space for identity processing, BIPOC mental health specific challenges, and exploring how an individual’s identity affects their behaviors, relationships, and community.
Some areas of mental health research that informs my practice include trauma-informed therapy, IFS (Internal Family Systems), psychedelic assisted therapy, culturally responsive therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), yoga & art therapy, mindfulness-based therapies, and the neuroscience of somatic psychology.
An important aspect of my work is looking at intersectionality through the lens of mental health. I enjoy supporting clients in finding ways to nurture themselves, no matter what challenges they might be experiencing. You can talk to me about general stress, complex trauma, anxiety, depression, relationships, adult ADHD, life transitions, and grief & loss.
